Cisco Aironet wireless access point graph

Has anyone been able to graph authentication failures on the cisco Aironet yet ?

If so can you post the scripts here, would really appreciate it

If there is an OID for it, that shouldn't be any problem at all to make.

Just check the documentation at cisco.com to find the correct OID and create an new graph template.

Does any of those OID's refer to the data you want to graph?

I asked you to look at the CISCO-DOT11-* files.

The admin OID's only count clients trying to log in as admin on the device..

Just create a new graph using the "Generic SNMP OID Template" and put the correct OID in there :)

Make sure you have set up SNMP on the access-point correctly etc first.

This is only graphing for interface Dot11Radio0, right? What if you have 2 radios installed, ie. the 802.11a Dot11Radio1? Is there a pretty way to put both on one graph? What would be the OID for the 2nd interface? Sorry - total n00b at SNMP here.

I downloaded GetIf and browsed the .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.1.2.1.1 objects.

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.1.2.1.1.1 shows the Dot11Radio0 association count

What would be the best way to modify this template to show association counts from BOTH radios?

I went ahead and took the version of the template and modified it so that it graphs 802.11a and 802.11g client associations on the same graph, but as different lines. My Aironet 1230AG series AP and both A and G in it, so this was really beneficial to me.

Hope this works for others.

I've double checked that I have the OID in the data template, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.1.2.1.1.1 and I do.

I'm able to pull the SNMP information from the device page, so that's working. I've deleted the template and re-imported.

Any ideas?

Seems like there are always AWFUL problems when a template was created for one release of Cacti, but you're using a newer/older one?

I'm running cacti-0.8.6j-1 on Centos 4.4

MRTG works, all the SNMP utils do --

I was able to import successfully from a previous version of this -- I think it was F perhaps.

Hopefully this helps smoe folks.

It has no dependencies, since I've heard that breaks things or overwrites things others have done..

I'd LOVE to have a host template for 1200 series APs if that makes sense... I'm using Cisco Router as my host template- but I bet a better one could be written for the APs...
