Ok, Let me see if I understand this correctly. The templates you mention are only for windows services, so if I am not monitoring windows services, I should not have any issues with the updated version?

great !

+ other question: the values (filters) of listmanages2.php and manage.php are not kept. I have to insert each time for example "Hosts per line: =10" or "devices type =managed"?

Hi gilles,

Hi

I got big problem with this version.
I have install it, clicked on "list view" (I check only unix/linux) and the whole cacti don't function anymore because of this "Table 'manage_services' already exists".

For all cacti views, plugins I've got the same following picture with error.

PS: I can also no more check the Misc config when this version is active

I just tried this plugin on my test cacti server and I got the same results as you. I deleted all the associated tables and am now waiting for a few polls to run and I will let you know the outcome.

This is an excellent & much needed plugin, but it highlights the need for a universal template and/or plugin compliance rule. Perhaps creating 2 types of plugins: offical (supported) and unoffical (unsupported).

The value name='manage_list_view' of settings is neither in the *.sql files nor in setup.php
(Please which is the default value and sql type?)

Code: Select all

@monitor2 manage]# grep 'manage_list_view' *
setup.php:      $sql = "SELECT count(value) as total FROM settings where name='manage_list_view'";
I don't see where that table gets created..

It looks like this plugin was developed in windows - lots of ^M chars and there is an .exe file in the zip.
