Thold questions

Post by malichidemonos »

I figured I get some ones attention with this subject line.
I've asked several questions before but apparently no one using this software knows how to use it other than for the basic features. Is there another message board that actually answers tougher questions about thold or am I just out of luck?

Questions follow

Is there a way to see how many times Thold has been triggered on a process before it sends an e-mail?

Is there a way to have thold reboot a server or execute a program that could reboot a windows server if a process or service goes down?

How would I configure threshold to monitor a process? Eventually I figured this one out my self but with no help from this board.

P.S. Sorry about the subject but I feel it was the only way I would get someone running this to answer me. If they want to change it, than change it. Again sorry for misleading any perverted people that expected to get naked pictures from this post.

It is not specifically logged, but it should be safe to assume that it uses the value you told it to use when you setup the threshold.

I already answered this one via the other post you posted with the same question.

Thold can only alert on things you are already monitoring via Cacti, so you would first have to monitor the processes via Cacti, then create a threshold for that graph.
