[Help] Possible to tie |query_ifName| to OID?

Post by potissimus »

Hi there, everyone.

Right now I have a few graphs that are using the Generic OID Template to graph specific OIDs and they work great.

However, I was wondering if it were possible to somehow tie the |query_ifName| and such with the OID so that I can use it in titles of graphs based on the Generic Templates.

For example, one OID that I am graphing is
.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.39.1.3.1.1.4.55555
where 55555 is the interface. Is putting something in the title so as to not have to input the info manually possible?

Try |query_ifIndex| on your own risk (I never checked it but it should do the trick)

Unfortunately, no such luck.

Using |query_ifIndex| in the title just lists "|query_ifIndex|" as text, without performing any query, it seems.

Any other suggestions?

Variable replacements only work with Data Queries.

Oops, yes, have missed this bit. Should dedicate some more time to sleep, I suppose
