Global Representation of Devices and Reflecting Icons

Hi,

First of all.....A gr8 Opensource Software by you guys....

Just a suggestion....

Can we have something like a global representation of the device....whether it is a server,router,switch,firewall....

For Example at the time of creating a new device....we should be able to configure the device type whether it is a switch,router,server etc....and have the icons shown at all the plugins .... like Icons at Monitor, Manage, Graphs,Thold,Weathermap....etc GLOBALLY....

Any Thoughts.......
