My first response is.... What what what!? :o

Then my second, more civil response is, has the volume where the log is located run out of space?

Thanks for your reply.

I was in a workplacement but i finish it. So now i don't have access to cacti server. But if you have a solution i will transmit it to my colleagues.

Versions of everything:
Cacti Version - 0.8.6h
Plugin Architecture - 1.0
Poller Type - Cactid v0.8.6f
Server Info - Linux 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4
Web Server - Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora)
PHP - 5.0.4
PHP Extensions - yp, xml, wddx, tokenizer, sysvshm, sysvsem,
sysvmsg, standard, SPL, sockets, SimpleXML, shmop, session, pspell,
posix, pcre, mime_magic, iconv, gmp, gettext, ftp, exif, dio, dbx, curl,
ctype, calendar, bz2, zlib, openssl, libxml, apache2handler, gd, mysql,
mysqli, snmp, eAccelerator
MySQL - 4.1.11
RRDTool - 1.2.11
SNMP - 5.2.1
Plugins
  • PHP Network Weathermap (weathermap - v0.82)
    Thresholds (thold - v0.3.0)
    Device Monitoring (monitor - v0.6)
    Network Tools (tools - v0.2)
    Syslog Monitoring (haloe - v0.4)
    RRD Cleaner (rrdclean - v1.1)
    Report Creator (reports - v0.1b)
    Update Checker (update - v0.2)
    npc - v0.1
    Host Info (hostinfo - v0.1)

Eveyrthing work fine when the loglevel is at "LOW ....". The problem occur only when i turn to debug mode (i don't test the other modes).

So with debug mode, i have no graph but i still to gather the data because i can see the current, last and max value below the graph.

The issue goes even further. If i keep the debug mode for 1 poller cycle and after that i turn loglevel to "LOW..." the graph appears. But if i keep the debug mode for a moment, and i turn it to "LOW..." i have gaps in the graph.

Very strange no?

To answer to Rony my volume /var isn't out of space.

But one week ago, this volume run out of space (problem in redirections with syslog-ng). This problem cause an issue to my syslog plugin (the database was corrupt). Finally i repaired this database and now syslog plugin works fine.

See my post to this issue http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... highlight=

Maybe there is a link between theses to issues? What do you think?

Giorgio.
