I am not able to veiw my graphs in cacti i am using cacti-0.8.6h under linux and also under the devices the machine status is unknown and i am getting SNMP error. i have started the SNMP and the rrdtool version rrdtool-1.2.13
Starting the local snmp daemon is not all. You'll need an snmp daemon on each target machine you want to poll using snmp. Then, the red error will disappear and you're ready to start snmp data gathering (well, if you won't use snmp, there's some other procedure).
