I successfully installed the thold and monitor plugins but weathermap and discovery are not showing up at all in cacti.
i've added the line
extension=gd.so
in my php.ini file
These lines are in my config.php file
$plugins[] = 'thold';
$plugins[] = 'monitor';
$plugins[] = 'discovery';
$plugins[] = 'weathermap';

Goto the Cacti console, then User Admin. Pick your user and makes sure that the rights checkboxes are checked for (at least) 'View Weathermaps' and something else for Discover (I don't use that one, but it should be obvious).
To add new weathermaps to the system you need to have the 'Manage Weathermaps' right as well.
There are also some file permissions that need to be set for weathermap, which are in the Installation section of the manual.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
