Monitor Security information

I just want to know if it's possible with cacti to monitor some security information.

For example in a router i'm interested in the number of port scans etc...

Sure, if you can write a script to get the data, then Cacti can graph it.

You just have to have to correct output for Cacti to read.

I think itwill be very dificult for me to create a scripts because i'm not very strong in scripts programation .

I am going to commit suicide and all my problem will be fix
