Graphs disappear after yum update

Post by rweales »

Maybe I missed some warning somewhere in the documentation, but my cacti 0.8.6h server that has been running fine for the last month has "lost" all it's graphs since I ran "yum update". Yum updated several packages in FC4, I rebooted, now all my graphs are gone and all devices show "recovering".

If anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I have same problem when I update my machine
My apache log says:
PHP warning: session_start(): open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_aklsdjflajdflajfdalkdjfaldksjflasjdfdb, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /apps/.. /cacti/include/config.php

And I change the permissions and now don't have this problem.
I hope this help you.

I have got the solution. yum update has upgraded rrdtool to 1.2.13 from 1.0 so go to cacti settings and change rrdtool version to the new one.

Regards.
