Scheduled Task no work W2k3

Post by samhoikl »

When I login to the server, the scheduled task is working perfectly. After I logout the server, it doesn't work and doesn't update the graphs. What's going on? Can someone help.

scheduled task w2k3

Post by samhoikl »

I think I have fixed the problem, one of my host was SNMP not valid. After I have removed the host, it work. I have create a new local user for running the scheduled task, now is running prefectly. But why I should use the cmd.php for running the CACTI, if I choose "cactid" it stop update again. Could you tell me why?

You need to install/configure cactid to use it...

cactid does not "function"

Post by samhoikl »

I have installed the cactid, but still not function. Now I can only use cmd.php. Could you tell me how to configure the cactid.

I face on another problem, some of my servers show me at broken graph. Some of it work perfactly. I don't know why? I seem like the poller can't access to the server. But in the same server, some of the graphs are showing, some are broken.

I only can see the "red X" and "server name - Available disk space". Can you tell me how to solve the problem.

Thanks

1) read the windows install guide on how to configure cactid. After you've done that, run it by itself to make sure it works.

2) As for red X's, read this http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11747
