|query_ifAlias| Question

Post by nfantis »

I am currently working on a project that lists the interfaces of specific devices and its traffic. What I need to add to the title is the interface alias.

I know this is possible under the Graph Management tab, but I would like to apply it so that all new graphs (and current if possible) have the interface alias in the title, so that I would not have to change each one manually.

I tried adding this to the title of the Data Template and Graph Template, but neither seem to add it. Only when I add it under each individual graph does it show up.

So, is it possible to add the |query_ifAlias| somewhere so that all new graphs for an interface show its Alias or does each one have to be done manually?

Thanks in advance.

You'll have to change the "Suggested Names" section of the Graph Template under Data Queries. You may change the order of title strings. Then, Reapply Suggested Names from Graph Management
