Data Input Method as "none"

Hi, I' trying to use external rrd's and when i set the data input method to "none" on the data template, the the template gets deleted. I'm using 8.6h on ubuntu 6.06. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I was following those instructions to the letter (I think

) but when I try to save a Data Template with "none" as the Input Method, it deletes the Data Template. I took an existing Data Template and changed its Input Menod to "none", and it also vanished.

Please perform an unfiltered list of all Data Templates and compare the number seen to the total number displayed in the title bar. If there's a difference, please report

Hi, there is a difference (39 counted, 48 in title).

Anything else I can do on this side?

I though about that. Some months ago, there were some problems of this kind. Don't remember well, but a search may help.
