Thold 2.x - Thresholding/Alerting module for cacti 8.6

hi everybody,

I have a question about threshold installation! I tried to install this plugin but nothing result.

I followed the standard procedure i.e. unzip the zip file and move it into the directory /usr/local/cacti/plugins/thold. Then I modified the file "config.php" with :

$plugins = array();
$plugins[] = 'thold';

For Information: the directory "plugins" don't existed before. I created it.
And the line "$plugins = array();" wasn't present into the file "config.php". I added it.

With all that, no change appeared into Cacti! i.e. Cacti don't display the "thld" mitre.

I think that the setup.php of the threshold plugin isn't executed. but I don't know for why ...

I don't understand the problem.
It is the good procedure or I forget several steps ?
Can you explain me a good installation witch is OK ?

Hi Dinfree,

You do not have to create by yourself the plugins directory. Before adding the Thold plugin or other one you have to install the Plugin Architecture. You can download and get information on it there: http://cactiusers.org
