whats wrong with my crontab?

Post by chad76 »

hi ...redhat as 3

*/5* * * * cactiuser /www/php/bin/php /www/htdocs/cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1

this is the line I have in the crontab file. when I log in as cactiuser and run /www/php/bin/php /www/htdocs/cacti/poller.php it brought up graphs and put information into them, this is why i think that it is my crontab file

thanks for any help

You needed to have a space after the /5 in your crontab. In your first post, it looked like /5* instead of /5 *
