Definitions? for Interface Resets, Lost Syncs, T3, T4, etc.

Post by rmoore »

Anyone,
I am searching for a list of definitions for the graphing lists for what they mean. T3 Timeouts, T4 Timeouts, Interface Resets, & Lost Syncs. I would appriciate anything that can be located regarding this matter.

Thanks, rmoore

These are related to cable modem metrics. If you download the DOCSIS diag script/template I put together, in the data input method, there is more information about what each means.

need info

I am new to this forum and probably a little slow by your standards, but can you draw me a path that shows exactly where to find more information on T3s, T4, timeouts, and lost syncs. These are all gathered information on individual modems on our monitoring program, Edgehealth, and I need to know more about them.

Thank you

Google is your friend. Can't find the real cisco document, but this is the same thing... http://www.yars.free.net/CiscoCD/cc/td/ ... .htm#22916
