Cacti db create

Maybe someone can help me, how do I get to the shell prompt? When I go tot "mysql command line client" it gave me the mysql> prompt and I'm not able to create db as per instruction.


Set a password for the root user

shell> cd mysql\bin
shell> mysqladmin --user=root password somepassword
shell> mysqladmin --user=root
