This is a mismatch between the currently used rrdtool version and the one configured under cacti's Settings
Reinhard
Code: Select all
rrdtool --version
Reinhard
rrdtool 1.0.2 ?! dude, upgrade.

I have same problem default graph doesn't display.
I found rrdtool say error in menu
console --- > Graph Management --- > Localhost - Memory Usage and then click "*Turn On Graph Debug Mode". The rrdtool say
ERROR: opening '/usr/share/cacti/rra/localhost_mem_buffers_3.rrd': Permission denied
I already run command --- > "chown -R root:root rra/ log/".
How to fix this problem?
fedora core 4 ,cacti-0.8.6h,PHP 5.0.4

This seems to be a permission problem for the httpd's user. Please consult the error_log of the httpd. If i'm correct, you'll have to configure your httpd/the directories to have at least read access for httpd and at least write access for the user running cacti's poller. In General, supplying root:root access makes thing much worse.sanchai_cha wrote:I have same problem default graph doesn't display.
