f5 BigIP Load Balancer Template
This is my first attempt at a complete template. Zip file includes .xml query file to be place in ./resource/snmp_queries directory, along with all dependant resources. Import as a host template.

f5 BigIP Load Balancer Template
Hi
I followed the steps you described. But, no graphs are drawn . Does the BIGIP kernal version has any influence? My BIGIPs Kernel Version is BIG-IP Kernel 4.5PTF-07 Build18.
The snmpwalk result too is strange
c:\>snmpwalk -c XXXXXXXXX -v 2c 10.16.7.249 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.2.3.2.1.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.3375.2.1.3.2.3.2.1.1 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Let me show the screenshots of my setup.
Please advice me what is wrong with my setup as I am not getting any graphs plotted.
Thank You

Yes, the kernel version does matter.gslulu wrote:Hi

The v4 BIGIP OIDs were enterprises.3375.1.*. Anything that is enterprises.3375.2.* is BIGIP v9+. This template, therefore, is specific to BIGIP v9.gslulu wrote:The snmpwalk result too is strange

Issue Importing cacti_host_template_f5bigip.xml template
I have placed the files in the ./resource/snmp_queries directory and then was going through the Import Templates in Cacti and received a "Error: XML: Hash version does not exist." when trying to import the cacti_host_template_f5bigip.xml template.
Issue Importing cacti_host_template_f5bigip.xml template
More info. Running Cacti 0.8.6h on Linux
Thanks,
John
Thanks,
John
Found out that the Cacti we were running was 0.8.6g instead of .6h. Upgraded to 0.8.6h and followed the instructions and the template imported, but not exactly working correctly with my BigIPs. This was more curiosity than anything else to see if i could get more info from the BigIPs, so I haven't messed with it anymore.
So it appears the scripts and templates were exported from 0.8.6h.

Does anyone have templates for the Big-IP that they have gotten working? I really them. I have been trying since yesterday to get these ones working with no luck. the problem is that templates are not even loading to give me errors. When I click on the "Save" button after selecting the file, it just sites there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, So have finally been able to import the templates but I can only get "connections", "Chassis temperature" and "CPUEnv" to graph. It looks like those are the only templates with corresponding data queries.
Has anyone been able to successfully get these working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Alhagie.

Has anyone got this working correctly with a 9.x LTM?
EDIT : I suggest checking this template out, it's much more functioning
