Y axis values

in traffic graphs and other graphs on Y axis i get values as 1.2M or 2.4M

how to make it to look like 1210k or 2402k. Please help

[-X|--units-exponent value] is the key.

This works on Y axis values but have no effect on GPRINT values.
How to get correct format of units for GPRINT values?
