Hi all
Thanks for Cacti, it's an excellent product, I'm still getting use to it to release it's full potential.
I have a strange query, not sure if it is a bug. I installed and configured Cacti version 0.8.6h successfully on my FreeBSD 4.11-RELEASE server, and my graphing is working. Only thing is that after creating the graphs to monitor "Interface - Traffic (bytes/sec, Total Bandwidth)" I cannot see the "Total In" as it seems to be misalligned on the graph or "hangs" over the edge of the graph where it cannot be seen. The attached file contains a screen capture of this graph and you will see that the "Total Out" sits at the bottom left of the graph.
What can I do to be able to see the "Total In" ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Wernher

You can include a hard return on the data source just prior the the traffic in statement. Edit the graph template, and select the "(traffic in) Maximum" At the bottom, select the "insert hard return". This will force the traffic in down to the next line like it is for the outbound.
One thing I like to do is re-order the statements so that both the totals appear at the bottom, after both the cur/avg/max statements:
Something like this:
Traffic In: Cur 5 Avg 5 Max 5
Traffic Out: Cur 5 Avg 5 Max 5
Total In: 10
Total Out: 10

Hi melchandra
Thanks for the hint, you pointed me to the right direction. The "Insert Hard Return" was ticked which didn't prove any solution to me, but what I did instead was to select the "down arrow" untill the very last line which in this case was Item # 10 and after saving the changes and looking at the graph both totals where given at the bottem of the graph next to each other.
Thanks again!
