Cacti 0.8 - Problems detected

Post by jbaezt »

Ian,

I migrated CACTI from version 0.6.8.a to a 0,8 and have detected the following problems:

1) In the migration process the colors user defined are lost
2) The exported graphs (PNG) do not contain the legends
3) The HRULE type item generates error in the generation of the graph
4) The order of archives PNG within file HTML this incorrect one: daily, weekly, yearly, monthly

This was an oversight on my part when writing the import script. There is not much I can do now, but thanks for pointing this out.

This has been fixed for 0.8.1.

I did not notice this before, but I fixed it for 0.8.1.

This has been fixed for 0.8.1.

If you happen to notice anything else, feel free to let me know.

Ian,

Thanks for your answer. Congratulations by your great software.

I forgot to indicate another problem: The confirmation to eliminate items graphs does not work.

Actually the lack of delete confirmation for graph items is intentional. I figure users many times want to delete a bunch of graph items where a confirmation would just add another click to each deletion. I would have no problem adding this, I just figure most users would not want it.
