Hayelp - Strange one - Template installed, not graphing....

Post by argon0 »

I created templates for Multi CPU graphs, (2,4 and 8 CPUS).

These seem to work OK from Linux machines, but the one Win2k user which has tried it runs into problems - see here: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... c&start=60

He is running Cacti .8.6.h (same version as the templates come from), but when he goes to change the data sources on this graph it doesn't work. He gets save successful but when goes back in there are just the 4 "None"s again...

I suspect a permissions issue, but, as my "expertise" (hahaha) lies in the Linux version, I don't know where to start!

I had the same problem on linux ...

Solution: Set the corresponding checkbox for the "Associated Graph Items" in the "Graph Item Inputs" on the "Graph Template". After that the settings were saved.

No worries, glad to be of service.

That was one thing I didn't think it could be, I guess they got unchecked when I exported the template.
