Graph the input/output sum of selected interfaces

Post by appugno »

Hi all,

I have a little over 350 users, all are served by 5 seperate routers(4xC3750, 1xC7204) all subinterfaces are already polled and graphed.
I would like to create seperate graphs, for a number of different groups, one per a group, that would be a standard interface graph, e.g. one graph for selected 10 users, other graph for the other group of selected 20 users from all 5 routers, and so on...., is it possible? i mean without wiriting a script...is there a template for this kind of stuff?

basicly, as I understand, graphs should be the result of the sum of a number of different datasources that already exist.

also can these graphs be easlily managed, like can datasources of a router's(i.e. a user) subinterface be easily added to or removed from the graphs?

thank you and thank you very much for cacti.

Clarification needed.

When you say user, what do you mean? Because you can typically only graph physical interfaces, not individual ip addresses (users).

Thanks for the response

all users get their own subinterface (dot1q vlan), and as you know it's "pollable" through snmp

thanks
