2 Questions :) About query data and number in graph

Post by bota »

Hello!

So i've created a data query that poll information about my IRC Network, to graph automatically statistiques for channels see http://cacti.heliosnet.org/graph_view.php

So my first question, how can i make that number in legends are integer, without decimal ! (0 1 2 3 4 and not 1,45 ect)

Secondly, i want that the Graph Title and the data source name are generated automatically from the data query. i've see things like |query_ifDescr| in Interface graph from snmp polling host.

Thank you very much!

I noticed by your graphs that you found the 'Exact Numbers' feature. Let me know if you still have any questions about this.

You can use the variable '|query_fieldname|' in both the graph title and data source name. This only applies to data queries and will not work in any other case. The 'fieldname' is the name of any input field as specified in the XML file. Additionally, below is a URL to a list of host variables you can use:

Thx for your answer

i've tried again but still don't work

So i can put only a |query_fieldname| where fieldname is designed as Input File in the .xml file, isn't it?

The the |query_fieldname|, i must put it in the
1. Graph template
2. Data template
3. In association of data query and graph ?

Thx for your answer!
