Installation seems to be good but I get a broken image-Help!
Hello,
I installed cacti as per BSOD2600 guide and everything seems to work just fine. But when I try to view the graphs I get a broken image in tree view, list view and preview.
Below are installation details:
Operating System: Windows 2003 Std. Edt. Server
Webserver: IIS 6.0
Cacti: cacti-0.8.6h
Cactid: cactid-0.8.6g
MySQL: 4.1
PHP: 5.0.4
RRDTool: rrdtool-cygwin-1.2.12
Net-SNMP: net-snmp-5.3.0.1-1
Cygwin: Installed
-All paths are set correctly permissions has been applied as per guide.
-RRDTool Default Font Path is set correctly as well.
-RRD file are getting updated every 5 mins.
-If Poller Type is set to cmd.php it works fine, but if I set it to cactid while running it opens 2 DOS windows, cactiplus window runs and closes but the but the original window gets stuks and diplays:
03/20/2006 06:59:39 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] DEBUG: About to Spawn a Remote Process [CMD: c:/cactid/cactid.exe, ARGS: 0 13]
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
When I click on the one of the graph source I get the following:
C:/rrdtool/rrdtool.exe graph - \

Since you're collecting data and the rrd files are getting updated, its a problem with rrdtool. Do you have rrdtool 1.2 selected in cacti settings?
Do you have the proper permissions on cmd.exe and rrdtool.exe for your IUSR_ and IIS_WPG accounts?

When you go into graph management and view a single graph, does it work? If not, do you get any error messages when you simply run rrdtool.exe from the command prompt?

When I try to view a single graph from Graph Management I get a broken image with a red X. And when I run rrdtool from command prompt i get the below results:

Have you fired up FileMon like the readme sticky suggest when you're trying to graph and see what is getting denied?
Doesn't quite make sense the rrd files are getting updated, but you cannot view the graphs, even with the proper permissions apparently applied.

I ran FileMon while running poller.php but didn't try running it while viewing the graph. Also have you observed something? that the path in the log file for the RRD files are showing up with 2 // could that be a reason?
I have also noted a small thing, the broken image in view grph section is like if the source file is not on the correct path.
But after you told me to go and check in the graph management it was a broken image with a red X.
Do you have any path to give which I can put locally in the browser and see if the graph image is displaying?

A double slash could be the problem...
You using spaces in your file paths? They're not allowed.
For example, this is a rrdtool graph output that works:
Try manually entering the graph command cacti is trying to use (click the wrench icon) in a dos command window and see if it works.

No I am not using spaces. I was trying to point out the \\ in the log file example:
03/20/2006 06:50:07 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: C:/rrdtool/rrdtool.exe update
E:\\mydomain.com\\www\\mrtg\\rra\\3550_traffic_in_48.rrd --template traffic_in:traffic_out 1142859004:0:0\par
Is it suppose to be like this?
Also help me in with wrench icon, where do I find this?

If your rrd files are truly updating with data, then the double slash in the path is fine, although I don't have double slashes in my paths.
To get the wrench icon, click on a graph. Then you should see the wrench icon, which will show you the rrdtool graph output command.

Sounds like you dont have any data. Time to look in your rrd files. Run: rrdtool dump filename.rrd >filename.xml. Then look in the xml file if there truly is any data that cacti has been collecting.
