Please check your default font for rrdtool is set correctly to the full path of the font you would like to use.

I have the same problem. But where should I set the default font for rrdtool? I tried it under Settings -> Visual, but that did not work.

Thanks in advance.............

Also check the graph settings of each of the users on the system.

Tony, graphic settings are fine. But I'm probebly missing someting. I installed Cacti several times on the same way and never had this problem before. This problem started when I used Red Hat Core 5. Probebly there must be something wrong with a path setting or so. I've tried to set the paths (Settings -> Visual) to /usr/local/rrdtool/share/rrdtool/DeJaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf . Is this correct? Because it stills not working. Is there a way to check if the default path to the fontfile is correct?

Thanks again.

/shrug

I just install rrdtool from the FC repository.

I personally have had issues with certain Dag packages.

Tony, I will try to explain what happend. I firstly installed rrdtools in the directory /usr/local/rrdtools. This was an old version and did not work wel with the cacti version I used. So I updated the rrd version and then installed it in the directory /usr/local/rrdtool. I thought I had completely uninstalled the old version witch wasn't true. There was still a directory rrdtools. What I dit was copying the default font in the old directory with the default path. After that the legend worked. So I completely uninstalled rrdtool from everywere and then reinstalled it. Now its working perfectly. Thanks for your patient and tips.

Grtz. Cees
