monitor traffic by port

Post by 0pt1f1 »

I am just getting started with cacti so I will need things explained s...l...o...w...l...y...

What I would like to do is have a graph that monitors port (e.g. HTTP=80, etc.) specific traffic.

Ideally the graph would show total bandwidth and the bandwidth consumed by the top three or so ports.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would reccomend the ntop plugin on cactiusers.org, seems to fit what you want to do the best.
