Win2k Server Install Problems - auth.php no such file or dir

Post by jkittle »

Ok - I've searched the message board, and haven't found anybody else report this problem (wish I had) so here goes. Trying to install cacti under win32. PHP seems working, MYSQL seems installed and working, cacti db imported - trying to launch http://webserver/index.php but heres what happens.

Warning: main(include/database.php) [function.main]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\include\auth.php on line 16

Warning: main() [function.main]: Failed opening 'include/database.php' for inclusion (include_path='c:\netpub\wwwroot\cacti') in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\include\auth.php on line 16

Warning: main(include/version_functions.php) [function.main]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\include\auth.php on line 19

Warning: main() [function.main]: Failed opening 'include/version_functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='c:\netpub\wwwroot\cacti') in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\include\auth.php on line 19

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getcurrentversion() in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\include\auth.php on line 21

I have wide open NTFS permissions set on PHP and cacti folders, so I don't think it's a security issue. It feels authentication related (hence the auth.php problems) but I can't pinpoint it.

Include_Path

Hi,

did you have set the include_path in your php.ini proper, e.g.: include_path = ".;c:\"

AUTH.PHP

I think you may find that a couple of the include files did not get into the include directory. I had to move two files to get it going.

The missing files are probably sitting in the CACTI directory and need to be moved/copied to cacti/include possibly?
