Can't set graph item fields in graph management after upgrad

After upgrading to cacti-0.8.6f I can't change in/outbound data sources for any graph (old or newly created after upgrade).
In Graph Management -> (edit) all Graph Item Fields (inbound and outbound data sources) always points to None, and I can't change them (there is no choice except None in option).
All graph's seems working well, even based on my custom graph templates which summarize traffic from several hosts, those templates have a lot of Graph Item fields (for each in/out host data source),
but I can't change any graphs to use other data sources..
install/ scripts said that my database is up to date,
I attach example (my custom graph) but issue persist for all graph types

I create test cacti database, add a device in it and standard graph (Traffic bits/sec), anyway in datasources in Supplemental Graph Template Data -> Graph Item Fields I have only 'None' option to select to ;-(
When using old (upgraded) database all graphs works, but the same issue happens, I can't change graph item fields, if they are data sources, only 'None' option, so I can't create or modify my custom graphs ;-((

UPDATE: the problem with charsets! right now recreate database with cp1251 charset, all ok, now I can choose data sources in graphs
