rra file empty

hello to start sorry I'am french :lol: :lol:

in cacti poller view cache I can read

RRD: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\cacti\rra\pc_stagiaire_2_proc_39.rrd
Action: 0, OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.6.0 (Host: 192.168.1.164, Community: public)

but rra file is empty Why?

I have change rrdtool win32 with cygwin 1.2.12
my cacti version is current with patch

to finnish I use cacti with easyphp for testing

Sorry i think that information was not to nessessary

I have follow the instruction for install i thit not missed any point.

Operating System:Win XP Pro
Webserver: Mozilla IE APACHE 1.3.33
Cacti: 0.8.6h whit patch applied
Cactid: not installed
MySQL: 4.1.9
PHP: 4.3.10
RRDTool: rrdtool-cygwin-1.2.12
Net-SNMP: net-snmp-5.2.2.pre1-1.win32
Cygwin: not installed

I think I am probleme whit NET-SNMP because in getif the mib browser don't opperate and
I can read not response from snmp
(snmp is install and good)

So my problem is: rra files is empty

in debug mode in cache poller I can see
RRD: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\cacti\rra\pc_stagiaire_2_proc_39.rrd

but the snmp cache is empty???

1) Cacti does not support spaces in the path. Fix that.
2) Why are you using double slashes for you path? You dont need those, just the standard one will do.
3) The log stuff you posted does not say it attempted to update the rrd files. You're looking for CACTI2RRD log entires which do that.

1)ok fix space whit c:\PROGRA~1\ is good?
2)I don't no why but path is correct whit one slash :(
3)how I see the cacti2rrd log?

I have problem to run net-snmp agent error 1067 so i havec read the readme.w32 on web site but I am forgoten avec you solution and Is possible that my graph problem become to snmp bad configurated?

in getif I can't acces to tree in Mbrowser Grrr help a little french plz

sorry for multi-post but I search all time and see more and more problem

can you explain me how to install NET-SNMP? because with cohabitation I don't success you can explain me to easy notice? in website of netsnmp and readme.W32 I don't success install why?

You do not need to install the net-snmp snmp agent. Use the microsoft one which comes with windows.

ok but when net-snmp is not installed I havec snmp error on device to cacti?

Did you install the windows snmp agent?
Did you enable the snmp module in php, like the installation guide instructed?

yes I have install microsoft agen snmp OK.
I have install net-snmp just for snmpget.exe snmp....exe OK.

Use forward slashes for your paths, /

No. If cacti isnt able to create it, then you have something wrong.

Considering the verbose query did not return any data, I don't think you have SNMP properly working on the device. Do you have the basic SNMP information at the top left corner of the device screen? If it says snmp error, then you have a problem.

to this moning I have this problem on log cacti

I think is maybe caused by rrdtool can you explain me how to install rrdtool cygwin? I have just pass in cacti folder and configure path I have other to do?

Ignore those.

As for installing rrdtool, simply download the zip file from the cacti website, extract to c:\rrdtool, in cacti settings point to it, set up NTFS security so your IUSR_X and IIS_WPG user accounts have read/execute.
