query_ifAlias truncated to 16 characters?

Post by rastan »

Greetings,

I notice that when I add query_ifAlias in my graph names (which translates to the "description" option on a Cisco router), it gets cut off after 16 characters. An SNMPget shows the whole thing, and I wasn't able to find anything in code or the mysql structure that would suggest why this would happen.

Is this is a known problem or maybe something in the php-snmp module that is causing it to happen?

Thanks.
