I'm afraid it made no difference :( I changed the colon to a hypen (':' to '-') and the same thing happens. No .rrd and the suggested names are ignored. Yet the beginning of the data query (e.g. before you actually click 'create graphs') on the device setup page looks fine.

Similar problem

Post by Viggy »

I am having a very similar problem.

I am using the CBWFQ script from Moonman. I have it running fine against 12 routers.

I went to add it to lucky number 13 and the graph name did not show appropriately. No RRD was created as well.

The verbose query looks correct. All the SNMP Walks and CBWFQ.pl commands issued from the command line also work.

I added it to another router and it worked. I come back to the problem router and it won't work. very odd...

Curious to see if you find or have found a solution.

Has *anyone* had any success resolving this kind of problem? It still persists. Is it common? Is it a bug? Any developer fancy taking this up?

I'm stuck at exactly the same point with my own Get Script Data (Indexed). Starting to wonder if the feature works at all. One thing I do notice is when I create a Graph, the associated Data Source it creates looks a bit odd in the Custom Data section...

Index Type Data query data sources must be created through New Graphs.
Index Value (empty input box)
Output Type ID Data query data sources must be created through New Graphs.
