I can't seem to get any graphs to display. If I grab the url of the image placeholder and paste it into the browser I get...
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/cacti/include/rrd_functions.php< on line 224
0x0
4
In also get ...
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/cacti/graphs_items.php on line 153
... if I click edit graph items on the graphs setup page.
My setup is...
Mandrake 8.1
Apache 1.3.20
php 4.0.6
MySQL 3.23.41
Any pointers gratefully recieved...
No graphs on 0.6.5

Don't know if this would apply to your problem, but a Mandrake 8.0 user had a very similair issue before:

Check that out and see if it helps.

Many Thanks! That fixed it - can't imagine why I didn't spot this when I looked through the forum. Apologies to all for raising an issue which had already been dealt with.
It seems this happens if you start mysql directly from the command line as root rather than using the script in /etc/init.d
hence very easy to fix with 'service mysql restart'
