Yes, forward slashes are fine. They're a must if you use cactid.exe.
1) With rrdtool in c:\rrdtool, do you get that error message for every graph or just some?
2) what rrdtool version are you using?
Install on Windows

Try setting the rrdtool version to 1.0, click save. Then select 1.2 again and click save. Searching the forum, points to an rrdtool version issue.
Search your system for other copies of rrdtool.exe and delete them too.

Great.
That error happens for 2 reasons. 1) your permissions are not set up properly so the rrd file cannot be created. 2) no valid data is being returned for that data query.
To find out the latter, Turn the polling level in cacti to debug (Settings | Polling level) for one cycle, wait for Cacti to run, and paste the output of the actual log file (<webroot>/cacti/log/cacti.log). If it contains WEBLOG entries, then don't bother posting since they just clutter up the log. Turn off WEBEVENTS logging and try again.

OK
1- I made sure that the account running the scheduled task of executing poller.php (which is mine) has all the available permisions on all the folders and files.
2- The devices that I am monitoring is a cisco switch, one graph using the cisco template and the other using a generic snmp device.
Attached please find a copy of the log file.
I hope the problem is in there!!!

There is no debugging info in there during a polling cycle. Wait for one and post the log file again.
