When monitoring many links, it can be hard to spot anomalous behaviour.
1 approach is to set thresholds to be sent alerts.
- this is possible in CACTI via the plugin :)
Another would be to have a screen which showed the 'Top 10' links for bandwidth utilisation.
SolarWinds' Performance Monitor does this & it would be great to replicate within CACTI. Am not sure how difficult it would be to code for...
