Graphing Watchguard X1000 FireWarePro

Post by arosenau »

I want to graph the interfaces on my Watchguard X1000 firewall. I have put in the IP address of my cacti server and also set the SNMP community name in the watchguard policy. However when I try and add the watchguard to my devices I just get "SNMP ERROR" in red at the top of the page. I have tried selecting all 3 versions of SNMP on the cacti device page, and have also tried the following SNMP templates

None
Cisco Router
Generic SNMP Host.

Does anyone have any ideas for this? I have searched and found the following topics

http://forums.cacti.net/about10077.html ... watchguard

http://forums.cacti.net/about11616.html ... watchguard

The one suggests trying the Cisco router template which I tried but had no luck with.

Thanks

Moved to Scripts and Templates.
You need the MIBs for that device. Please contact your manufacturer or search for those MIBs. As soon as you have the MIBs/OIDs, you may create your own Queries for that device. Help on doing so is given in the last links of my signature
