Errors when creating graphs

Post by jones »

I did a search for my problems but didn't really find a clear answer...if this has been addressed somewhere else and I missed it, I apologize.

When I try to create a graph, i get the following errors:

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php:866) in /var/www/html/cacti/graphs_new.php on line 86

Also, when i try to view the graph under 'graph management', i get the following error in place of the graph in debug mode:

'RRDTool Says:

ERROR: opening '/var/www/html/cacti/rra/localhost_traffic_in_23.rrd': No such file or directory'

any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the reply,

i looked at that thread previously but when I looked at my traffic template, it didn't have multiple inputs, unless I am missing something.

You didn't miss it. Your template looks good. Does your error appear when creating any graphs? Please try not only Data Query based Graphs but also those referring to a Data Input Method

It doesn't seem to matter what kind of graph I try to create. I tried Data Input Method Graphs, such as logged in users, and it gave me
Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 866

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/cacti/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php:866) in /var/www/html/cacti/graphs_new.php on line 310

It still gives me these errors when i try to create the graphs.

I noticed that it does create data sources when i try to create a graph as in the picture. I'm sorry, i' know i'm missing whatever you're trying to point out... :(

Some googleing yields results that lead into the direction of php 4.4.0 in conjunction with adodb code. So please tell us your versions (see my signature as a sample)
