Graphs not displying properly

Post by Freshwreckage »

Hello all

And a major thanks to all who helped me with my earlier setup issues.

I am having a minor issue where, when I log into Cacti, and go to the graph's page, I get no graph(see attachment for sample) just a hyperlink that drills down into the 4 graphs, which display just fine. But I would like to set the page up so that when I go to graphs, my graphs actually show up.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

JP

Please be kind when I say this as I am usualy not so with my users...
Heh.

I don't know.

I do however know this much, I am not using 1.26.

I know this because I opened the zip of RRDtools and compared the file sizes. 1.26 has a file size of 724KB whereas the one I am using has a filesize of 560KB

Is there another way to tell the version?

I had the RRDTool set to the wrong seeting in the config.

Thanks for the help.
Believe it or not, the fact that you asked me about the RRDtool sent me in the right direction.

Thanks much!

Heh...

I am still having 1 minor anomally.
When I try to look at my graphs in tree mode, I get a blank screen. Even though I have created 3 "branches".

This make any sense?

Awsome software by the way!!!

What is in the branches. Keep testing and you should get it.

Those MIB errors are because you didn't properly set the MIBDIRS system variable. Re-read the install guide on how to do that. They really dont matter though since cacti doesnt use MIB files...
