polling

Post by timje_2005 »

hi

i have followed bsod's installation for window systems and am still unable to poll devices using the php c:\cacti\poller.php.

windows 2003 + sp1
iis
php 5.1.2
cacti 8.6h
mysql 5
net-snmp 5.2.2-1
rrdtool 1.2.12 (from cacti site)

I have removed the original Linux host and then added in a new Windows locahost, of which the snmp poll works and it displays drives, cpu, nic, etc. I then click "Create graphs for this host" and go through the actions of ticking the objects I want to graph and click create. At the top of the page it says that it created the graph.
I then go to a command prompt and run "php c:\cacti\poller.php", it runs and then goes back to the command prompt (see the image for response).

Have I missed something obvious? Has anyone got an idea what's causing the problem, if it is even a problem?

thanks

Looks like you are running MySQL 5.x without the compatibility fixes. See the announcements forum for more details.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
