I realize that there will be a repository when 9 comes out, but as fast as addons & templates are coming out, it is becoming very difficult & time consuming to track down the latest or working version in the forums.
Hell, I am even willing to put up an http/ftp server just for addons & templates with contributor logins. Check out www.deadcat.net for an example.
Those of you who use Big Brother are probably familiar with it already
Any thoughts on the matter?

But right now, we deverlopers are pretty focused on getting 0.9.0 done, or at least out to beta.

I think a wiki should fit better, I'm currently setting one for my company, to host our Big Brother / Hobbit scripts.

Whatever it would be, I would consider it temporary until the Repository is active.
Either way, I can host it. I have security concerns with Wiki's, permissions would have to be watch closely to avoid spammers.

what about the way deadcat.net is set up? login based with review features.
I'm all for the repository, but we need something better than the forum for maintaining addons templates. I have plenty of bandwidth & a few computers available, but not too much time at the moment.
