Issues with installing Cacti on Win2K

Post by Freshwreckage »

Hey all...
Been trying to get this going for two days now, to no avail.
it all goes like clockwork until page 5.
Under configure cacti, I enter the settings accordingly, but when I try to run localhost/cacti I get a page not found error.
If I run local host, I do get the Apache Sample Page.
But Nothing else.
Not sure hat the hell I am doing wrong, but it feels like a PHP issue.
I am running apachi 2.x with PHP5

Any help out there?

Sounds like you havent properly configured Apache with PHP. Take a look through the install guide again and make sure you've made the proper adjustments to the apache config file.

I hear you there, and I have, too many times to count.
But I can run through it once more.

I had a similar failure.
Check the line

>> DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var

in you http.conf file under apachex/conf and add
(if not) index.php
