Get graphs but no text

Post by bwraith »

Plesk 7.5.4 (Yes I got it to work right with it :) )
RHES 3
Cacti 0.8.6h
RRDTool 1.2.10 (used to be 1.2.11 but still did same thing)

I can get the graphs to show but never the text on them. They all just show the graph material and no text what so ever. I turned off safe mode also made sure all the paths are right and accessible by the user. I have nothing like mod_security running right now and no other things that i can recall that should interfere with this. Any help would be appreciated :)

I suddenly have the same problem. Graphs, but no text below. Did you find any solution to your problem?

I'm running rrdtool version 1.12 and Cacti 0.8.6f. It used to work.

this usually happens when you give a general "font path"
in configuration. I use to have this field empty and define
manually my fonts from settings section.

Ok, it actually worked when I "hardcoded" the font under settings, visual to:
/usr/local/rrdtool/share/rrdtool/fonts/DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf (the only font there).

Is that what you do? What is the alternative, where does it look for fonts if that's not defined?

Thanks for the help!

by default (when it is empty), it loads a font from the rrdtool and not
something special. if you want something special you give the paths
seperated as you did :)
