Graph Regeneration question

If I make a change to the data template is there any way to apply the changes to previous graphs/data ? Without actually destroying old data?

Soon as you make the changes, all graphs/data sources which use that data template will get changed. If you dont want this to happen, then create a copy of the new one and name it something different.
