Cacti and PHP Safe Mode

Post by stevewest15 »

Cacti: 0.8.6g
PHP: 4.4.1
OS: RHE 3.6

Hi,

I'm trying to install cacti on a server which has PHP Safe_Mode enabled and I'm wondering if this is possible?

I've tried to setup the various executables (ie snmpwalk, snmpget, rrdtool) inside php safe_mode exec dir but still no graphs get outputted. Am I missing some other tool which cacti requires so I can add it to the safe mode exec dir?

thx,

SW

I have yet to hear of anyone getting it to work with safe_mode enabled. :(

Can you tell me what tools cacti requires access too so I can make sure they are in my safe_mode_exec_dir?

thx,

rrdtool
almost all the net-snmp utils: snmpget, snmpwalk, snmpbulkwalk, snmpbulkget
mysql socket, if configured for localhost
