How to backup for installing on another machine

Hi guys,
I decided to backup the configuration data and reinstall with all the latest versions, possibly on another machine.
Can anybody tell me how to do it?
Is a backup of cacti database enough?
I only want to save the devices and interfaces configurations, not the data received.
