Help with Sendmail using Thold plugin

Anyone here successfully using sendmail to send messages for Thold. I'm using Debian linux with cacti g, cactid, and trying to set up the mailer portion of thold. I can successfully trigger an event but cant get any messages. Can someone tell me all the files and settings they've made?? I would apprecieate it.

Also I just want to send mail to our exchange server which is setup to relay all mail from the cacti server.

I've fixed my promlem on the send mail issue. I quite usingit. I didnt really need a whole MTA or mail server. All i needed to do was mail stuff. We have an MS Exchange server and i set it up to accept mail from cacti server via relay. In Thold instead of using sendmail i chose SMTP which really just sends mail straight to your IP you set for the mail server on port 25 and viola' my thold alerts are going out.
