No graphs and graph debug says libgcc error

Post by abhardwaj »

After upgrading to h version of cacti, I stopped getting graphs. Here is the output of the graph debug.

RRDTool Command:

/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.49/bin/rrdtool graph - \
--imgformat=PNG \
--start=-86400 \
--end=-300 \
--title="exa2-tr-wr-01 - CPU Usage" \
--rigid \
--base=1000 \
--height=120 \
--width=500 \
--alt-autoscale-max \
--lower-limit=0 \
--vertical-label="percent" \
DEF:a="/usr/local/apache/htdocs/cacti/rra/exa2trwr01_5min_cpu_17.rrd":5min_cpu:AVERAGE \
AREA:a#FF0000:"CPU Usage" \
GPRINT:a:LAST:"Current\:%8.0lf" \
GPRINT:a:AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.0lf" \
GPRINT:a:MAX:"Maximum\:%8.0lf"
RRDTool Says:

ld.so.1: rrdtool: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory

Whereas LD_LIBRARY_PATH seems to cover this library path ... Please help ...

Did you try running 'ldconfig'?

Its a solaris 10 box and I don't know if there is a ldconfig command. I ran ldd command on rrdtool binary and it can see the required library.

Do you get any output if you run the above command by hand at the command line?

Did you upgrade rrdtool? If so, where did you get the package from?

That looks like a lib that rrdtool wants is not there, nothing that is cacti related.

Hi

you need to install the libgcc package (>= 3.3) : http://sunfreeware.mirrors.tds.net/prog ... ml#rrdtool

It can be found here : http://sunfreeware.mirrors.tds.net/prog ... html#gcc33

(assuming you're running on Sparc).
