Hello

First, sorry for my english, i'm french ^^

Linux => Ubuntu
cacti => http://www.lilobzh.com/cacti/ (guest - guest)
cacti version => Version 0.8.6f
poller type => cactid
Ping type => ICMP Ping

why we can read :

CACTID: Poller[0] ERROR: Problem with MySQL: Duplicate entry '30-traffic_out-2006-01-02 15:05:02' for key 1

Why the ping is like that.

Looks like you have some kind of database problem here (the duplicate entries are not expected). How did you install cacti?

Can you try to drop the whole database (as you have only 2 hosts) and recreate it?

I had install CACTI with Ubuntu package ( automatic )

I can drop the DB but how recreate it after ?

Go to www.cacti.net and read the installation manual. Not sure what the ubuntu package did (or what you did afterwards) but obviously something went wrong.

i dont understand, Its like CRON call twice the POLLER

Looking at your cron entries, make sure the cactid entry is disabled: otherwise you'll end up calling poller.php and cactid.
If that's the case remove cactid and set the poller to cactid under settings->poller (in the gui).

This is a known issue especially with rpm installs. cacti rpm install brings /etc/cron.d/cacti with the polle rbeing started every 5 mins. And if you followed the instruction manual (surely you did so!), now you will have two pollers. That produces the duplicated entries and the 296 sec problem. Serach ALL of your crontabs and stick with only one poller

i delete the command with WEBMIN (cron in /var/spool/crontab/ )

Now the poller is call but i dont find the good file with the command
