Support for Draytek Vigor 2200E
Hello,
i am using cacti (latest version) and everything is working fine.
but now i want to monitor my Router (Draytek Vigor 2200E). Cacti is able to contact it's device through snmp, but there aren't any graphs.
debugging-mode is telling me, that data source is creating the rrd-file, but graph debug tells, the rrd file is missing.
--> I want to monitor the bandwidth of wan device <--
properly it doesn't work because of there are some differences between data sources of draytec and other devices, e.g. draytek ata source has no index type and no output type value.
I am also able to monitor the draytek router via prtg (www.paessler.com), a small windows application, but cacti doesn't like my draytek
do you have any idea what i should do?
thanks kazu

1) Does cacti consider the device up or down?
2) Does verbose query on the interfaces show any data?

I have the same problem.
When i run the data query of interface statics, i get a list of the available ports, but when i add them to my graphs I don't get a graph! It keep empty....
(I've run the poller once!)
Also i didn't find some xml files to import.....
Thanks!

I'm using the 0.8.6h version on linux but i ran into this one on the win32 forum so i guess its platform independend.

2) what snmp version for that device?

1) fedora core 4, snmp version is 5.something, php 5, using snmp v1 protocol (if you really want to know the version of *everything* then i wont be done till tommorow )
2) the device is snmpv1 only.
3) yes, considered up, cacti can get snmp info for the device also and it adds a few nic's, they just stay empty.

I know i need interface 1 and 4 and those are the ones cacti is supposed to monitor.
It doesnt respond any different then any other snmp network device exept that it has 2 phantom interfaces and only provides basic info.
What i did notice is that cacti does not grey out interfaces which it is allready graphing like other hosts.
It also lists 'End of MIB' as a network interface which is somewhat odd.

There is also nothing in poller cache for this device.
I have successfully graphed other snmp devices
Alright. Go to the SNMP Cache, do you see entries from the Draytek? What about in the poller cache?
Have you already went to the 'create graphs for this device' screen and added something for its interface(s)?
What Downed Host Detection method are you using?
